In contrast, steam cleaning can take up to 3 days for surface drying, during which residual moisture can seep into the mattress or other upholstery items and promote the growth of mold and mildew. Additionally, steam cleaning often involves toxic cleaning agents, risks color fading, and is unsuitable for memory foam.
